Rainbow

Today I set out for a nice long walk with my Nikon in hand and my long lens on my camera. I hadn't gotten too far when a downpour began. Here I was with my dog, my camera and no umbrella, hat or a backpack to stash the camera into. Fortunately, an old friend came driving by and gave me a ride back home. I dried myself off, the dog dried himself off and I sat down to read. My husband came into where I was sitting and said, "You've got to see this rainbow." I grabbed my camera, went into my own backyard and saw this beautiful site. The long lens was there waiting.
