Skidbrook Church

My girls asked if we could all do something together today. Take photographs they said. So loads of planning and preparation to ensure that we had three cameras all ready to go at the same time.

Thinking they would get bored if they didn't at least get a couple of decent shots, I decided to take the to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary which is open at weekends during the winter weather permitting. Well it wasn't today!!! So trips to various nature reserves along the coast, then a trip to Skidbrook Church. According to them this is the most haunted building in the UK, so boy were they worried.

All fears allayed, we spent a good hour taking photographs of the disused but still beautiful building, and they have concluded that the only things that go bump in the night there are the vandals who have written all over the walls and broken the stone frames of the beautiful windows, making this building open to the elements.
