Dry and Sunny

A wonderful sunny day with a glorious blue sky and I just had to get out for a stroll round the village lanes even though I was a bit creaky from walking yesterday. These dried remains of the cow parsley caught my eye against the lovely blue sky and I thought they looked rather pretty. I'm surprised that they are so dry and not thoroughly rotten after all the rain we've had recently but I guess it drips off quite quickly as they are so tall. Hope you've all had a lovely day too :-))
