From the dark corner.....

Blown away and nearly drowned!

I slept like a log last night after my Abbot Ale in the West Kirk at the end if a tiring day. I didn't wake until about 7:45 which is really late for me. Good job I woke up then as I told mom ages ago when she had suggested I have a lie in until 9 that if I was still asleep at 8, I'd actually be dead! I am such a cheery optimistic soul!

Anyway, I am ashamed to say I got up, looked out at the gloomy day and once I was showered, dressed and upstairs, I spent much of the day watching Little House On The Prairie and eating cheese and onion sandwiches with cheese and onion crisps. After the third episode in a row, I announced I was off out. Mom decided to accompany me as she reckoned she needed the exercise after yesterday's Chinese takeaway.

My word it was windy out there! I was glad of my furry hood and had gone out looking like an eskimo. We wandered down towards the sea and were really surprised to see loads of people out walking. There were dogs and kids on roller skates or scooters everywhere. (The dogs were not on roller skates or scooters). The waves coming over the wall got quite big at one point and I'm glad I had turned round to cross the road as a huge one hit me and it was like I'd had a bucket of water thrown at the back of me! My camera wouldn't have liked that at all.

We wandered home via the town centre where mom suggested we go to the West Kirk on the way but I told her I'd better not as I'd had enough last night really. So, it was back home for fillet steaks, chips and onions followed by minty Magnums. Delicious! Mom said as she was eating her ice cream, 'It's so great to have a hard one!'

Well! Who would argue with that?

Go large!

Track? I feel like The Rolling Stones today - It's Only Rock And Roll (but I like it)
