Take a punt

So was I enjoying a lazy afternoon by the river in the sun? Or was I balancing on a tow-path swilling with icy water from the river’s broken banks?

The second. I was among walkers and cyclists whose route had brought us to a stretch of tow-path that was lower than the rising river, and the route I'd intended to take home was too deep to pass. Everyone edged round the water trying not to get too wet and I got the camera out and asked it to lie.

Just seen that last year's involves a boat and wet feet too!
