Drifters

The sun shone, and wind blew for a lovely day out in Aldeburgh. We stopped off at my favourite farm shop (alright, one of them), for some chocolate cherry roulade and then continued on to spend the rest of the afternoon wandering round the shops and on the beech. The concert in the evening was at Snape, and featured two films. The first was a film on mining with a very emotive soundtrack. The second was about a herring fishing fleet, with a live score composed by the band Field Music. It was a really interesting show. The drive back was lots of fun; all singing along to the Disco Heaven show on Dream 100!
