Sparky!

When I got up this morning at switched the kitchen light on is was flickering, as were all the other lights I tried! I then noticed that the outside light of my neighbours house was doing the same thing!

Whilst out walking Ted this evening I could smell that someone must be welding something and I could hear the welding noise.........and then I realised that it was actually the electricity pole behind the stables in the photo that was arcing, it was quite noisy and the smell strong!

On returning home in the semi-dark everyone's lights were flickering, including the bollards on the Pedestrian refuges in the road...quite odd!

Anyway I phoned UK Power networks who tell me they are aware of the issue and it will be fixed at 6.45pm......I am not hopeful that it will be fixed by then but a least it is on their emergency list!
