What a lark ..

The doorbell rang this morning and it was our church visitor. I used to rather enjoy her outspoken, opinionatedness - but I really wasn't feeling in the mood today ('Do you really need all those stuffed toys on the sofa, Maggie?' 'Do you still have all those dreadful foxes in the garden?')

So I'm afraid I made my excuses and left her to it.

I spent a little while photographing skylarks.

Then I saw a very rare bird (I blipped him originally, but it's such a poor photo I had a change of heart!)
