A sign of spring?

Only the other day I was bemoaning the fact that I didn't have any snowdrops this year. Suddenly quite a few have popped through and I realised that if I had bothered to clear away the leaves last year I would have seen them!
Had a lovely lunch with 'the girls'. W had told her little girl that we were meeting for lunch and she had replied 'what are you going to do between that and picking me up from school? Bless her, she had no concept of a leisurely lunch taking 2 hours. Today, however, it took 3 1/2 hours. Well, there was a lot to talk about!
