My path rocks!
... or just "My path rocks." if you prefer. Noun, verb, take your pick.
I had the laurels cut back hard around the end of the pond and across the back of the bed all the way to the Dogwood a year ago. I've only just got round to laying a few stones down, in the pissing rain, but they'll be well settled by Spring. Good and solid. Can't have cocktail fueled friends teetering on dodgy stones that close to the pond. Although ... it's occurred to me that an "incident" would require a visit from first responders ... ie. firemen.
I've only got a quarter of the way along. I'll be needing a few more stones. Bugger! They're heavy. They're dusty. And get this! They're not cheap! You'd think a bit of rock would be ... free? Or cheap? Nope. Ballpark ... $7 a square foot, or so.
I'll flesh the edges out with a bit of thyme and maybe a razzle-dazzle moss, let them spread into the gravel.
It'll be dead precious once I've finished.
