Daisy Dot's 1st Birthday get together xx

Mike got Eva washed and dressed this morning then brought her to me still in bed for her morning milk. Touch wood, no more problems on the milk front, Eva is back to loving it, phew!

We had a lovely chilled out morning at home playing with toys, singing songs, reading books, cuddles and tickles. Eva then had her sleep from 12 til 2.30pm, a lovely long sleep. After her sleep, Eva had her lunch (shepherds pie) and off we set to meet Lisa, Woody, Isabella and little Daisy, and all their friends and family as they are over from America until Friday, and Daisy is 1 year old the day before Eva next week. In fact, they were born just 10 and a half hours apart.

It was great catching up with everybody and Eva was all smiles all afternoon and had lots of kisses and waves for everyone. She didn't mind being held by a few different people, or sitting on their laps either, which is great. She had her first birthday present too, from Janine and Toby. Janine loved seeing Eva and knew lots of things just from reading this Blip diary. She asked where Iggle Piggle was and asked Eva to point, as she knew she liked pointing, I was very touched. Eva enjoyed bouncing the balloon that was tied to my chair too, so Lisa gave us 2 balloons to bring home :-) As we were leaving, we took today's pic of Eva and Daisy (but they haven't come out very well). They too gave each other kisses and pointed at each other's mouths. All very, very cute. Xxx
