Hanging out to dry

Not the greatest shot, but all I got today. The morning had been sunny, but unfortunately by the time I was able to get out walking at Samoreau mid afternoon, the clouds had rolled back in, so the light was rather poor. The birds were all rather skittish this afternoon. As I was walking along, there was quite a flock of magpies up ahead, but once I got close enough to try and get a shot, they all flew off. Similarly, a flock of gulls all standing on a rock in the water. So I had to make do with these cormorants, a bit too far off, one of them spreading its wings out to dry.
