Date Night

In a major drive to be incredibly tight fisted we used a voucher we'd been given at Christmas for a meal out. Really nice meal by the beach.

We've taken this "tight fisted drive" to whole new levels, including accepting cheesecake from a tenant, and using that as our evening meal that night (several weeks ago). Someone gave me $10 for helping them the other day - Chinese takeaway. And so far we've eaten nearly everything in our freezer and we're doing pretty good on the pantry as well. As the wife said "I've never seen the back of the pantry before".

And if you are wondering, this is the mist in the bay as we came back from the barrier island after dinner. Coincided with the moment I went "crap, haven't done my Blip"/
