'Delta Kappa... I don't think so'

Last week news reached Edinburgh University that the infamous Yale fraternity 'Delta Kappa Epsilon' (DKE), currently on suspension for their chants promoting rape culture: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUEq75i_z-A... was to colonise a branch on our campus.

The 170 year old fraternity which previous members include George W. Bush, among other presidents, has since received a lot of backlash, and Edinburgh students have been very quick to condemn the attempt to establish a DKE fraternity here, apparent here with the covering up of the DKE graffiti with a feminist alternative. In a university where 'lad culture' is still perhaps too prominent, the last thing we need is a misogynist and elitist group that promotes it any more!
