UNFINISHED LEATHER-DRY VASE

Having abandoned and almost forgotten my second attempt at a coil pot, I discovered it today lurking in the workshop minifridge (The fridge is not turned on but is airtight so good for storing semi-finished work). The problem I had been getting was driving me crazy. I could grow the pot up and out but coming in at the top just would not happen. So I pushed one side right in and stuffed it with newspaper to help support it while it settled and I calmed down. That must have been four days ago. I spent a couple of hours today working the surface into this condition and have plans to cut and form it a bit more. Actually, I think it's going to turn into something after all - always assuming it fires without exploding.
