You Look Lovely Today, My Deer...

On a brisk morning walk with the puppy, we were stalked by this old doe who has been on this hill for eons. She shows no fear and walks parallel to where we go almost every day. I carry sunflower seeds for the birds and drop little piles for them...and she knows it. Not sure if she's mated yet. She usually has a fawn or two every other year. We shall see later on this winter. Too cold for a long walk. Hope the puppy doesn't mind. I'm layered up like lasagna but it still creeps up from my toes.
