River Marsden in Flood

Well today didn't start off very well. go to take recycle bin out only to find dog mess all round my gate, then discover car has flat front tyre after packing it up including Little Miss E for a morning out in Bath, which included a scheduled appointment at 10.30. So without further ado, I transfer everything over to the van and set off, fill up, and hope I'm not late! I normally take the train to Bath as its only 10 minutes from my nearest station, but I drove today and for once I managed to find the photo studio without dizzying myself in the one ways and on time.

We were lucky that we had full family portraits done in a lovely converted chapel just over a year ago for Christmas presents, so the studio are running a competition for their face of 2014 for children, so I entered my curly munchkin, and she had her pictures taken this morning looking like an angel as always (little do they know!) If she wins, she gets lots of goodies and we get a meal out. So I have been advertising her all afternoon, trying to get as many votes as possible on their Facebook page.Face of 2014

As the weather in Bath was not compatible with a slow walking toddler, I decided to abandon my personal photo opportunities and head home, catching some lunch on the way. Then off to my local pharmacy to pick up my latest prescription. The local river was in flood, so that is todays Blip.I tried various angles while holding on to Little Miss E, but nothing really captured the immense fast flow of brown liquid.

Tonight, despite this miserable weather, I made myself get out and do a 6 mile interval session...think the ole legs may be a bit stiff tomorrow.

Everyone is in bed now, as Mr C is still feeling a bit ropey from his bumpy flying last night, and the "sporty" landing as he calls them. Time for me to catch up on some work and plank!
