Making Music

"Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!" Psalm 95:2

So tonight we had a worship team practice at Church, it is the second one we have had, but this time we had no guitarist, which meant that me on the keyboard had to provide some melody for the singers!! It was a little bit scary, but I enjoyed it very much at the same time. I have brought home the songs we did, as they are all quite unfamiliar to me, so that I could practice a bit and hopefully next time will be better again. Each time we play I get a bit more confident.

I chose this verse, because although musically what I was playing may not have been perfect, but I did make a joyful noise!! It is our heart that God looks at when we praise and worship him, it is not really how musically good or how tuneful our singing is, which is good because I am self taught at playing the piano so I am not technically the best, but I can make a joyful noise, as we all are capable of doing...
