7.7C with clear spells to start, then dull with light rain clearing through the day to a bright end to the afternoon. Light breeze.

I had looked out of the window to see if it was raining before Maeve the Deerhound and I went out this morning. It wasn't. There was a good sunrise happening out over the sea. I took a camera when Maeve and I went for the early walk. This shot would have been taken about 7am.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch too. The rain had gone off and it was beginning to brighten up. We went down to the beach and had a wander. The tide was well out. There were one or two other dog walkers.

It got brighter through the afternoon. Still full light and blue sky after 5pm.
