Hound

I don't know much about this little ceramic fellow. He belonged to my grandmother, my mother, and now me. My mother believes him to be quite old. He has no markings to identify his origins. The level of detail is quite remarkable (at least to me, who knows not the slightest on the subject), with the bunched-up skin at his neck, and the well-defined ribs. Clearly he's also had some knocks and crashes.
