The Cardinal and the Blue Jay came out to play!

Sunny, bright and colorful today. The birds were everywhere I looked. I looked up and the jay was up in the tree that hangs above the deck. Then I looked out the side window and the cardinal was basking in the sunshine. A while later as I looked out my front window, I could see a distant dot of bright red in the trees two streets over. I guess the cardinal was flying all around the neighborhood.

The icicles were melting all day in the sun. Temps are supposed to drop and all will freeze up again. Possible storm on Sunday... hopefully I will make it to my appointment on Monday.
