Fields of gold
Luckily we had to stop at the traffic lights by the field just outside Munlochy. I always like looking across the field to the big white house at the top.
The roadworks are there because we believe Open Reach are laying fibre optic cables ready for Infinity for faster broadband that's coming in March.
We went to the tip with a trailer load of rubbish. From tomorrow the Kessock bridge will have road works until June so we wanted to get a few odd jobs don before then. The skies were really blue and I watched the sunset over the old fridges and freezers :)
We did pop to Merkinch to see the final rays of sunshine. The tide was still coming in and rows of Oyster catchers and gulls were lined up on the small areas of land that were left. One lone hooded crow was flying up and dropping something from quite a height.
After a frost it was a bright day and has now turned much colder.
