Different day, different duck

AND a different river. Today it was the Platt River and a pair of Lesser Scaup's. At least that's what I think they are..... If you take notice this pair has the female as the leader. Perhaps it's in my future to study in depth the habits of the duck. lol. Just kidding, but I do enjoy watching and being out in nature. Today, I was smarter and had my mittens on so I could stay out a little longer. It's hard to get very close because of the snow banks, but did my best considering....
