Light Relief

A bright sunny day brought a spring into my step this morning, and as I walked home this evening there was still some lightness in the sky - at last some relief from the long dark days. As I stood at the bus stop this morning there was a slight covering of ice on the canal and the sunshine caused the bare branches of the trees to reflect across the water. As usual the tow path was busy with cyclists, walkers and joggers on their way to work and going to school.
