Woke up in time to watch the men's downhill at Sochi. Seven a.m. on a Sunday morning?! Shirley shumm mishtake. Had to make Gail a cappuccino to get her out of bed for the Women's slopestyle. Took a wander up to the dunes while the kettle was coming to boil on the induction. Snapped 'the shed' reflected in the garden. (Did I mention that it's been raining since November?) But not only was I getting a different perspective of home, I soon had to come to terms with having to see British Olympians on snow in a whole new light. Congrats to Jenny Jones on her bronze and many thanks to Aimee Fuller for joining the BBC commentary team. Laughter and tears all around. Still plenty of day left. So weird.
