Kip Water

Early shot this morning before the rain moved in.

I walked across to the entrance to Kip Marina and there was some sunshine bursting though onto Kip Water.

Kip Water descends from the Compensation Reservoir below Loch Thom and it follows a westerly course for 4 miles through the Ardgowan Estate before it reaches the Inverkip Marina. It once provided the power for several flax mills.
