No. MY candles!

I love how in this photo Richard is not just stopping Tess from blowing out his candles but also the deer on her jumper.

Richard had a quiet birthday. The weather was shocking and we decided it was too expensive to eat out again. The local pubs just seem to be getting more and more expensive. I don't know who can afford to eat in them anymore but we can't. I feel they are just catering for rich tourists and second home owners these days. It's a shame and, in my opinion, a bad decision.

We went to Richard's Mum's for a drink early evening and then had M&S food back home.
After dinner we watched The Shawshank Redemption which we've seen loads of times, but it's a great film.
