The British Invasion

Marking the 50th anniversary of the Beatles debut in America on the Ed Sullivan Show. I was 16 at the time and remember it well. To be perfectly honest, I was never much a fan of The Beatles. I really didn't care for their songs nor the way they sang them. I was never much into rock & roll. But, I have since come to appreciate their music and love a lot of their songs. I do have to give them credit. They really did define rock & roll, and it was definitely the night that changed America, and we haven't been the same since. I do like their music when sang by other performers. If it's any consolation, I didn't really care for Elvis, either.
