Yum yum!

Perfect Bonfire Day/Night :)

Long, brisk walk this morning through the fields and by the stream with Grace.

Supper spread tonight of crispy baked spuds with beans, deep fried potato skins, sweet chilli bangers (with veggie sausages for me of course), hot dogs in buns with onions in butter...delicious!

Then it was off to the village bonfire/firework display for Grace's first ever proper Bonfire Night. Previous to this, we've just set off a few sparklers at our place. Grace seemed quite impressed by the fireworks and the bonfire - 'BIG', she said - but the thing she went on and on about even as we put her to bed (very late) tonight was her first taste of a toffee apple - 'YUM YUM'
