The Briny Foam

The wind is still freezing the whiskers off a walrus and the sea has never really gone down much!

It was a snell wind at Skaill Bay today with the sea still churning. Too rough for the Hamnavoe, it had to come in up Scapa Flow.

It's been a fun start to 2014 weather wise, including the Merry Dancers in the early evening at the weekend.

March has no chance of coming in like a lion at this rate!
