I had to go down to the Art Gallery to sign a painting from years ago.
Every year the local art gallery organizes an exhibition called "30x40"
Artists, Sunday painters and anyone with artistic dreams can enter a canvas, unsigned and size 30x40. There is a silent auction using red stickers and then the paintings with two or more stickers are auctioned.
The fun is to try to guess who has painted what! The bidding starts at R500 and can end at R20,000. Most go for R1000 to R3000.
