Turning Colder
Been away for a few days including the weekend in Dunblane with some friends. We travelled down to Edinburgh on the Saturday for the Scotland v England rugby match at Murrayfield, the first game either Mrs B or I have been to. I have to say the atmosphere and crowd were great, but oh dear the rugby was dire. Not just because Scotland lost, the game was simply awful with few moments of any excitement. I see there is a call in the papers today for Scotland to forget all the pre-match razzmatazz and improve the rugby. I couldn't agree more!
We actually had a bright if rather cold morning, which provided the opportunity to get the camera and filters out and try some more long exposures. Although the sea looked calm there was still a heavy swell breaking on the rocky shore at Torrisdale. I quite like the contrast in this one between the mistiness of the foreground rocks and the cool clarity of a snowy Arran in the distance.
