Tyre Tracks

With the wind dropping, the rain almost going off and the sun even putting in some intermittent appearances, there was an opportunity to get out and stretch the legs this afternoon.

We had the beach to ourselves and enjoyed watching the offshore wind creating spindrift on the breaking waves. When a sunny interval appeared it was time to get the camera out and catch the moment. Unfortunately, the spindrift never showed up that well in any of the shots so I settled on this one instead. Its amazing how the storms have changed the beach yet this old tractor tyre has remained pretty much in the same place for the past few years.

Back home now and time to throw a few more logs on the fire!
