After my previous weather moans, today was more like I would expect it to be - slushy rain on this mornings walk gave way to a beautiful, bright winters day but as Josh left school at 4 it began to snow. The boys all felt they had to make the most of the snow and he was out playing until bath time. Hot chocolate milk with marshmallows was required with a game of Frustration, Josh and I were suitably frustrated while Ky won and celebrated by singing along heartily to Mrs Robinson on the radio.
This picture was taken at lunchtime of the small cherry tree in the garden that flowers at all sorts of random times of the year - I was making the most of the gorgeous blue sky. This picture was taken in the garden a few hours later (bad focus but you get the idea) - this is why I love winter in Scotland!
