" TETE- A- TETE ANOMALY"

I couldn't resist a pot of these Tete-a-Tete daffodils. I put them on the window sill and today some flowers burst into bloom. One little pot and so far 8 little mini daffodils - now what could be a more definite sign of spring?

I took several shots in front of the sunny kitchen window with the snow in the background. I loved the way the sun made the flowers glow. It wasn't until I put the pictures on the computer that I realized that one of the flowers was an anomaly. There were seven petals surrounding the trumpet instead of the usual six.

How should I interpret Mother's Nature's variation from the usual Tete-A-Tete mini daffodil?
