Lie in till 11am. Tried to read my book but kept dozing off. Bliss.
Bacon sarnies for lunch made by D.
Visit from stepdad John who brought a bag of naughty goodies. I caved and had coffee and an empire biscuit.
Text from a friend who’s up here on business next week and who wants to treat me to dinner in a posh restaurant. Not seen him in nearly a year so looking forward to that.
Dinner of homemade chicken curry, rice, spiced onions, poppadums and nan bread.
And the best bit of all…..having a hubby who tells me to go put my feet up while he clears up.

PS Yes, I am aware that the majority of that write up is food related ;-))
