Another wet day so we're in the study

Susan is getting back to doing things she wants to do after so many weeks of working. She's got the paints out and is creating another masterpiece. Can't reveal what it is yet, but in the fullness if time all will become apparent. Artists don't like people to see their painting until it is complete.

Susan bought some acrylic paints the other day, so we'll look forward to seeing something from them in due course.

I've been researching walks and things to do for our week in Kirkby Stephen which is coming up shortly (after the school half term break). Here's hoping for a few nice days.

Also worked out how to get to Reading tomorrow. The main line out of Paddington is severely disrupted but the line from Waterloo seems to be OK. Have to be there for 1.00 for an interview about some ICT consultancy work we might be doing.

Anyway, my neck is sore and my brain hurts from too much looking at the screen. Time to go and make the tea. A butternut squash and blue cheese soup.
