Wild!

What a wild day! Gale force winds have been gusting here most of the day, pausing only when several centimetres of hail dumped in a few minutes!

Wild weather and wild life - here's a pigeon snacking on some bits of fruit I put out. There were half a dozen cherries but the blackbird was quicker and got all but the one you see here.

Apparently, there are over 5,400,000 breeding pairs of Wood Pigeon in the UK.
