What a beautiful day it was today, bright warm sunshine and deep blue sky - a welcome change after yesterday's rain and greyness - but I know that there are a lot who are worse off.

In fact it was like a spring day, I even saw some of these, which was nice!

It's also nice to see the spring birds arriving and the blossoms on the trees, even if it is a few weeks early.

I daren't say this, but as I was leaving in the car, I either saw a very pale buzzard, or the ospreys are back - I will check it out tomorrow - very pale buzzards do exist, but I saw this one flying off over the trees, so I'm not 100% sure.
