Family Photo

It's a bit of a cheat blip today. I looked this photo out last week because we were doing a lesson on portraits, using drama to think about what the people in the photo were feeling at the time it was taken.
It was taken in the early 1920's in Blackpool - with my Dad on the front right ( he was born in 1914 ) and his brother next to him. My Granny , Lily is on the middle right with my Aunties on the back row.
I like the way my uncle looks thoroughly bored ! It must have been quite an outing from the Midlands because they are all wearing their best clothes.
