" THE WALL " - Pink Floyd.
As it was Wednesday, after work I went into Taunton to do the week's food shop. I had asked Sir if I could take Phoebe into work with me to save time and he kindly agreed.
I decided to walk through the town for a change to increase her social skills. This is the walk through from a side street where I always park for free. I dont see why I should pay to park thus increasing Taunton Council's wealth. Besides, it's a rip off.
This arch/building I have blipped before during the summer. Today I liked the reflection in the puddle, after all you can't go far at the moment without finding rain water.
The Church is in the middle of the High Street right opposite Debenhams and I always find it odd, that certain people are allowed to park right outside but I've yet to discover what makes the criterior!
However, the rain had stopped briefly but the wind was so strong and cold. I was looking for a white old fashioned blouse for the Victorian Music Hall so went into the charity shops. Couldn't believe in the PDSA shop which after all supports animals needing Vet. care, I was asked to leave as dogs are not allowed! So Phoebe, who was in my arms and I left.
We didn't find anything but I wasn't turned away from anywhere else. Not even in River Island where I tried on some boots whilst Phoebe sat on the stool. I find it quite bizarre how a charity shop can perport to support animals then discriminate against them. Its not even as if she's a big dog.
However, moving on, we tried to go for a run on French Weir Avenue, where I've blipped the massive amount of water before but it is now so wet, all we managed was a muddy wade.
Managed to get to the hairdressers on time for a trim and Phoebe waited patiently in the car. At least I dont look quite like Worzel Gummidge now.
Hope you have all managed to stay dry and haven't floated away. And like everyone else, long for the Spring and drier weather. Thursday nearly hear and now getting excited to see youngest Son and daughter in law tomorrow:)
Thank you for visiting and being a part of my life. Night x
