Mixin' Up Yummies

After seeing a facebook post involving a decadent looking chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, my taste buds invaded my mind. So much so, that I began baking chocolate cake (cupcakes...from scratch) at 7:30 at night.

It was nearly 8:30 before I could frost these drool-inducing yummies. When they were finally dressed and ready to eat... it was worth the wait. The kids were the first ones to grab and munch them, and I wasn't far behind them.

So delicious! I did manage to freeze a dozen and will frost them for Valentines Day. I'd like to whip up some cream cheese frosting for mine... but I think the family will want more peanut butter frosting.
