Hello Cairns!

We had to get up at 3.30am to make our 7am flight from Melbourne to Cairns! The flight took 3 1/2 hours, all of the time flying over Australia- its one big country! As soon as we arrived we noticed a huge difference between Cairns and Melbourne. The weather was so humid and it was very wet! We got a taxi to Tobruk Pool where we met Bill who took us to his house where we were going to stay for a few days. Later on we saw Alana, his lovely wife and met their beautiful daughter Orlaith for the first time.
