A Quiet Day

There seem to have been many quiet days on the beach this season. Granted, this was shot before most tourists are up and about. Even so there does not appear to be crowds of North Americans flocking to our lovely beaches. Not certain if it is the continuing bad press that Mexico gets, though I understand that has diminished some since the new President took over in December) or people are looking for something more exciting than our little town has to offer. The lack of tourists will make it tough for vendors like this one to make ends meet, especially when even those visiting start returning home in the next couple of months. For those of you looking to escape cold, wet weather, the beaches of Zihuatanejo are warm and sunny!
