Forest colours

I could have shown you pictures of mountains and blue skies today but instead I have chosen to blip this bit of forest which I can see outside our chalet.

I loved the way the sunlight had caught the orange trees at the bottom. I think they are Larches as they appear to be deciduous and therefore have no snow on them.

The snow on the other trees is as impressive as I have ever seen. There is talk of this being the most snow they have seen in living memory. It makes for great skiing.
