Back to school

This is the lovely bright dining room of Shawhead School, a wee rural school which has 29 pupils and which all three of my children attended. Except that they didn't attend THIS Shawhead School... this school is brand new, having been opened this year on the site if the old one, which was demolished.

Sarah was here today to give a talk about Cambodia and the Head Teacher, Mrs Little, kindly let me come along and gave me a tour. It's a nice airy space, bright and warm (heated by a Biomass boiler). The children were great, too, and asked lots of intelligent questions.

Thank you, Shawhead!
