Fungus Update.

At least one person thinks I’m mad, you can make up your own jokes from that - but today, an acquaintance caught me setting up this shot with tripod and flash (I needed some artificial sun) and was surprised that I wasn’t photographing something a little more exciting.

This clump of toadstools was blipped precisely a month ago; they are now sadly depleted and in an advanced state of decomposition but used to grow out of a stump of broom and were quite handsome in their day.
It is probably about time I bought a field guide so that I could identify all the specimens that we have growing around here.
