Stormy Afternoon

Amy had a football match scheduled for after school today at another local school. I had been asked to go on the mini bus with the team and arrived at school at 2.45. On my way to school though, I had thought that it was surprising that the match was still going on, as the weather was awful! And sure enough, as I walked into the school the PE teacher came out to meet me, saying that it had in fact just been cancelled.

No time to go home again, so I was offered a cup of tea and I sat in the reception area and caught up with my emails. I was glad to be inside, as it was sure blowing up a storm outside!
