A word of credit to Mervyn too.

Mervyn is the sled. He is as much a part of this as Lizzy. They are a team.

Lizzy has a good story about Mervyn. He is named after the man who got her in the sport.

The sleds have been developed by BAE Systems, who have a lot of experience in making things go fast and accurate, so we salute their magnificent engineers too.

All this happened on the 30th anniversary of Torvill and Dean winning their own Gold in Sarajevo to Ravel's Balerro.
Tonight I am listening to BBC Radio 2 Friday Night is Music Night playing the music they danced to in their routines.
