Stormy Weather

The bad weather was back with a vengeance today after the lull of yesterday; pouring rain and storm force winds made for some very rough seas here in Devon.

We went out for coffee this morning in Dawlish followed fairly soon by lunch at the Smuggler’s Inn. We were going to go to the Coombe Cellars in Combeinteignhead but considered that the narrow roads leading to the pub could quite possibly be flooded.

After lunch we went onto Teignmouth where I had a haircut at my regular barber (Tony’s) then on for a cup of tea at Costa.

The sea along the front at Teignmouth was quite impressive as we battled against the wind. Then back at Dawlish where the front and railway line were being hammered with giant waves. Needless to say I took lots of photos at both locations.
